Monica Forster

Raised in northern Sweden near the Arctic Circle, Monica Förster is a leading voice in contemporary Scandinavian design. Her work begins with the emotional and poetic essence of an idea, allowing form, material and colour to emerge from a deeper conceptual foundation.

As founder and creative director of Monica Förster Design Studio in Stockholm, she works across furniture, objects and creative direction for internationally recognized brands including Alessi, Poltrona Frau and Georg Jensen.
